01 - 4 slices sourdough bread
02 - 4 oz Brie cheese, sliced
03 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened

04 - 2 tablespoons fig preserves
05 - 1 cup fresh arugula (30 g)

06 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
# How to Make:
01 - Spread one side of each sourdough slice with softened butter.
02 - Place two slices butter-side down on a clean surface. Spread 1 tablespoon fig preserves evenly on each slice.
03 - Layer sliced Brie evenly over the fig preserves, then add a generous handful of fresh arugula on each.
04 - Top with the remaining bread slices, butter-side up.
05 - Heat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium-low heat.
06 - Place sandwiches in the skillet and cook 3 to 4 minutes per side, pressing gently, until bread is golden and cheese is melted.
07 - Remove from heat, let rest for 1 minute, then slice and serve. Optionally, top with freshly ground black pepper.
