01 - Line an 8x8-inch baking pan with parchment paper, allowing an overhang for easy removal.
02 - In a large microwave-safe bowl, combine chocolate chips, sweetened condensed milk, and butter.
03 - Microwave on high in 30-second intervals, stirring well after each, until smooth and melted, about 1.5 to 2 minutes.
04 - Stir in vanilla extract until fully incorporated.
05 - Gently fold in mini marshmallows and optional nuts, if using.
